Assistant Manager – Civil (Hotel Project – Shirdi)

Qualification:
B.E./B-Tech in Civil Engineering / Construction Management

Experience:
7–10 Years

Salary Range:
₹9–12 Lakhs per annum with accommodation

Job Highlights

·       Supervise and lead on-site civil construction activities for a hotel project in Shirdi.

·       Ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of all civil works.

·       Coordinate with contractors and internal teams to meet project timelines.

·       Monitor compliance with engineering standards, QA/QC protocols, and safety norms.

Roles & Responsibilities
1. Site Execution & Monitoring

·       Execute civil works as per approved drawings, project specifications, and schedule.

·       Supervise daily site activities and manage on-site personnel effectively.

·       Provide regular progress updates to the planning and project management teams.

·       Act as the primary communication link between site staff, consultants, and contractors.

2. Resource & Material Management

·       Assist in planning resources, equipment, and procurement schedules.

·       Monitor manpower deployment and track productivity.

·       Ensure timely availability of material to avoid work delays or stoppages.

3. Quality Assurance & Control

·       Monitor construction quality and ensure strict adherence to QA/QC plans.

·       Inspect formwork, reinforcement, concrete works, civil finishes, and interior finishes using standard checklists.

·       Avoid rework through proactive supervision and adherence to standards.

·       Maintain site records including DPRs, resource logs, NCRs, and test reports.

4. Coordination & Issue Resolution

·       Manage contractor/vendor teams to ensure efficient and timely progress.

·       Raise RFIs (Requests for Information) in advance after reviewing drawings and specifications.

·       Resolve on-site execution issues and escalate critical challenges to minimize project delays.

5. Documentation & Reporting

·       Prepare/Review civil drawings, estimates, Bills of Material (BOM), and bar charts.

·       Maintain safety documentation, incident/accident reports, and lesson-learned logs.

6. Safety Compliance

·       Ensure adherence to site safety standards and statutory regulations.

·       Promote a safe working environment and report unsafe conditions promptly.

7. Continuous Improvement

·       Upgrade technical skills and industry knowledge by learning new skills every year.

Key Requirements

·       
Education:
B.E./B-Tech in Civil Engineering or Construction Management

·       
Experience:
7–10 years in civil construction, preferably in commercial/hospitality projects

·       
Soft Skills:

o  Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

o  Good communication and coordination skills

o  Leadership qualities and team management capability

o  Ability to work under pressure and meet deadline

o  Proficiency in ACAD and MS office
