Job Description

Job Summary:

The Learning and Development Manager is responsible for identifying training needs, designing and implementing learning programs, and driving employee development initiatives that align with organizational goals. This role focuses on enhancing employee performance, leadership capabilities, and overall organizational effectiveness through strategic learning solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Training Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute the organization's L&D strategy in alignment with business objectives.

  • Conduct training needs assessments across departments to identify skill gaps and performance improvement opportunities.

  • Prepare and manage the annual L&D budget.

2. Learning Program Design & Delivery

  • Design, develop, and implement training programs, workshops, e-learning modules, and blended learning solutions.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external training vendors to ensure high-quality content delivery.

  • Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions for employees and leadership teams.

3. Leadership & Talent Development

  • Develop leadership development frameworks and succession planning programs.

  • Implement mentorship and coaching initiatives to build a strong talent pipeline.

  • Partner with department heads to design role-specific capability-building programs.

4. Performance & Impact Measurement

  • Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness and ROI of learning initiatives.

  • Analyze post-training feedback and performance data to refine learning strategies.

  • Report quarterly on training impact and outcomes to senior management.

5. Learning Culture & Innovation

  • Promote a continuous learning culture within the organization.

  • Introduce innovative learning methods such as gamification, microlearning, and digital learning platforms.

  • Stay updated on emerging L&D trends and technologies.
