Role & responsibilities

End-to-end HR operations

  • Manage all employee lifecycle stages: recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, exits.
  • Maintain accurate employee data, master records and HRIS entries.
  • Manage payroll inputs coordination, liaise with finance/shared service, ensure timely salary processing.
  • Oversee leave, attendance, shift/work-site rosters, mobility for site teams.
  • Administer employee benefits, insurance, PF/ESI/gratuity, and statutory compliance.

Compliance & documentation

  • Ensure the company adheres to labour laws (Factories Act, Shops & Establishment, PF/ESI, Contract Labour, etc) across site and office.
  • Maintain HR documentation, audit readiness, policy manuals, employment contracts, offer letters.
  • Update and implement HR policies, SOPs, and ensure communication and adherence across teams.

HR systems & process improvement

  • Drive HRIS adopt best practices, ensure data integrity, generate MIS reports.
  • Monitor HR operations metrics (turnover, time-to-fill, absenteeism, cost per hire, etc) and propose improvements.
  • Collaborate with IT/Operations to integrate field/supervisor/contractor data where relevant.

Business partnering & employee experience

  • Serve as HR operations partner to business/project heads—understand their manpower needs, staffing patterns, site-vs-office dynamics.
  • Support employee queries, grievances, exit interviews, retention initiatives.
  • Assist in performance management cycle – review timelines, confirmations, escalations for site & office staff.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline. Master's/MBA in HR is a plus.
  • 5-10 years of progressive HR operations experience, preferably in construction, real estate, or field-intensive organization.
