What you will be doing

As the Senior Manager – Outside Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving our sales strategy and expanding our customer base. You will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and growing a team of outside sales representatives while personally managing key accounts.

  • Strategic Account Management: Develop and manage relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, markets, and potential customers to drive growth in sales revenue.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Collaborate with leadership on the development and implementation of sales strategies, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure the successful delivery of solutions to clients.

We are looking for a dynamic, experienced candidate with a proven track record in outside sales, and business development. To excel in this role, you will bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in outside sales
  • Business Development Expertise: A deep understanding of sales processes, prospecting, and closing deals, with a strong focus on growing new business.
  • Excellent Communication & Negotiation Skills: Ability to engage with clients at all levels and influence decisions to drive business forward.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Freight Forwarding and familiarity with market trends and competitor activity.
  • Results-Oriented: A history of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think long-term while managing day-to-day activities and competing priorities.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel frequently to meet clients and support the sales team in the field.
