Job Title: Part-Time Freelance WordPress/WooCommerce Developer

Opportunity: Build and scale e-commerce for Indias largest homegrown musical instrument brand (and other growth-focused projects).

Must-haves requirements (Non-negotiable)

3 to 4+ years professional WordPress development with a strong e-commerce focus.

Deep WooCommerce expertise: custom extensions/plugins, payment gateway integrations, advanced product configurations (variations/bundles/subscriptions), and third-party API integrations.

Strong command of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3.

What youll own

Ship end-to-end WooCommerce features: architecture, custom plugin/extension work, theme/block development (Gutenberg), and integrations (payments, shipping, tax, CRM/ERP).

Convert designs (Figma) into responsive, accessible components; maintain Core Web Vitals and SEO best practices.

Own quality: code reviews, Git-based workflows, basic CI; observability/debugging; security hardening; analytics tagging (GA4/GTM).

Collaborate asynchronously; provide clear updates and reliable estimates.

Nice to have

Composer workflows, REST/GraphQL, caching/CDN, managed WP hosts (WP Engine/Kinsta), Playwright/Cypress, Lighthouse proficiency.

Engagement & Compensation

Type:

Contractor (India): 15 to 20 hrs/week

Working Hours: 2 to 3 hrs/day IST overlap

Salary: Rs.40,000 to Rs.50,000/month retainer

Initial 3-month contract; extend based on impact

IP assignment, confidentiality, and data-protection compliance required
