Job Title: Quality Head – Forging Industry

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Quality Head to lead our quality assurance and control functions in the forging industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems to ensure that all products meet customer and industry standards. This role demands strong technical knowledge of forging processes, metallurgical principles, and inspection techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor Quality Management Systems (QMS) in compliance with ISO and customer-specific standards.
  • Lead a team of quality engineers and inspectors to ensure product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Conduct process and final inspections of forged and machined components.
  • Handle customer complaints, CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions), and root cause analysis effectively.
  • Coordinate with production, design, and maintenance departments to resolve quality issues.
  • Ensure calibration and maintenance of inspection instruments and testing equipment.
  • Monitor heat treatment, hardness, dimensional accuracy, and metallurgical properties of forged parts.
  • Liaise with third-party inspection agencies and customers for audits and approvals.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through 5S, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing techniques.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering.
  • Minimum 10–15 years of experience in the forging or heavy engineering industry.
  • Strong knowledge of forging processes, material standards, and quality systems (ISO 9001, IATF

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
