Designation : R&D and Quality Assurance - Head

Job Location : Vasai

Role Overview:

To ensure end-to-end quality control of LED strip lights through systematic material testing, voltage verification, photometry analysis, production planning, and final product inspection. The role will also oversee R&D inputs and support production teams with process accuracy.

l Inward Material Quality Test:

Inspect raw materials (LEDs, PCB, drivers, etc.) for compliance with quality standards.

Maintain records of incoming material inspections and rejections.

l Voltage Checking (12V / 24V):

Test voltage parameters during and after assembly for 12V and 24V strips.

Identify mismatches or irregularities and take corrective action.

l Production Planning & Quality Monitoring:

Prepare production schedules based on orders.

Coordinate with shop floor supervisors for on-time production.

Perform random quality checks during production.

l Photometry & Other Tests:

Use instruments like Lux meter, Integrating Sphere, etc., for brightness, CRI, and lumen output testing.

Conduct thermal and driver compatibility tests.

l PDI – Pre-Delivery Inspection:

Inspect finished goods for function, labeling, and packing before dispatch.

Prepare and maintain PDI reports with batch details, quality parameters, test results, and approvals.

Keep inspection logs for traceability and escalate any rework/rejections to the respective departments.

Desired Profile:

Diploma / BE in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.

8+ years of hands-on experience in LED lighting, Strip Lighting

Strong command over voltage/current testing tools and photometry testing equipment.

Practical exposure to ISO / BIS / RoHS quality standards.

Good coordination skills with shop floor and vendor teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,200, ₹1,500,000.00 per year
