Quality Testing: Perform routine and non-routine quality control tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using established analytical methods

Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications

Instrumentation Operation: Operate and maintain analytical instruments, including HPLC, GC, spectrophotometers, and other relevant equipment

Perform instrument calibration and troubleshooting as needed

Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all quality control activities. Document and report test results, deviations, and any corrective actions taken

Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret test data, identifying trends and potential quality issues

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve quality-related concerns

Sample Management: Collect, label, and manage samples for testing, ensuring proper storage and traceability

Coordinate with other departments for sample receipt and distribution

Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements

Participate in internal and external audits as required

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the quality control workflow

Propose and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

2-4 years in pharma API quality control function.
