The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive project schedules, preparing regular progress reports, and supporting project management through effective planning and documentation. This role is ideal for an emerging professional looking to advance their career in construction planning within the commercial real estate sector.Key ResponsibilitiesProject SchedulingDevelop and maintain detailed project schedules for high-rise construction activities using industry-standard software (Primavera P6, MS Project)Create work breakdown structures (WBS) and establish logical sequence of construction activitiesMonitor critical path activities and identify potential schedule impactsCoordinate with various trades and stakeholders to ensure schedule accuracyPerform schedule updates and analyze variances against baseline schedulesReporting & DocumentationDaily Reports: Prepare comprehensive daily progress reports including weather conditions, workforce count, equipment utilization, and work completedWeekly Reports: Generate detailed weekly progress summaries highlighting achievements, delays, and upcoming milestonesMonthly MIS Reports: Compile monthly Management Information System reports with KPIs, progress analytics, and trend analysisCreate visual progress presentations using charts, graphs, and dashboardsProject SupportAssist in resource planning and allocation across multiple construction phasesTrack and report on project milestones and deliverablesIdentify potential risks and delays, proposing mitigation strategiesCoordinate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractorsMaintain project documentation and filing systemsRequired QualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field10-12 years of experience in construction planning, preferably in high-rise projectsProven experience in project scheduling and progress reportingTechnical SkillsProficiency in scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar)Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, particularly Excel and PowerPointKnowledge of construction methodologies and sequencesUnderstanding of critical path method (CPM) schedulingExperience with construction management software and reporting toolsKey CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAttention to detail and accuracy in reportingAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesUnderstanding of construction contracts and specificationsKnowledge of safety regulations and building codesPreferred QualificationsExperience with high-rise or complex construction projectsProfessional certification (PMI, AACE, or similar)Knowledge of Lean Construction principlesExperience with dashboard creation and data visualization toolsLocation: On-site –Mumbai, MHScheduled Weekly Hours:48If this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don't meet all of the requirements.  We're interested in getting to know you and what you bring to the tableJLL Privacy NoticeJones Lang LaSalle (JLL), together with its subsidiaries and affiliates, is a leading global provider of real estate and investment management services.
