Role Overview We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Purchase to oversee the entire purchase.ecosystem of our unit. The role involves procurement of aromatic chemicals, pharma based ingredients, and packaging materials such as corrugated boxes, mono cartons,applicators, bubble wraps, labels, adhesives, and other supplies as required. Thecandidate must have industry experience in Cosmetics, Perfumery, or Pharma andproven expertise in sourcing raw materials and chemicals critical to production. Key Responsibilities • End -to -End Procurement Management o Handle procurement of raw materials including aromatic chemicals(benzene, toluene, xylene, benzyl acetate, eugenol, limonene, linalool,vanillin) and pharma -based ingredients (acetone, ethanol, methanol,hydrochloric acid, acetic acid, sodium hydroxide, chloroform).o Source and manage packaging materials: corrugated boxes, monocartons, applicators, bubble wraps, labels, adhesives, etc. o Ensure timely procurement to support uninterrupted production andoperations. • Vendor Development & Management o Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors specialized in chemicals andpackaging supplies. o Maintain strong vendor relationships and conduct periodic performancereviews. o Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. • Negotiation & Cost Optimization o Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers. o Monitor market trends for chemicals and packaging materials to identifycost -saving opportunities. o Ensure procurement within approved budgets. • Documentation & Compliance o Prepare and maintain purchase orders, contracts, and vendor records. o Ensure adherence to statutory and safety regulations for chemicalprocurement. o Coordinate with finance for timely vendor payments and reconciliations. • Cross -functional Coordination o Work closely with production, quality assurance, and logistics teams toalign procurement with operational needs. o Resolve supply chain bottlenecks and ensure smooth flow of materials. • Reporting & Analysis o Generate MIS reports on purchase spend, lead times, and vendorperformance. o Provide insights for audits and management reviews.RequirementsRequired Skills &Competencies• Strong knowledge ofchemical procurement and packaging materialssourcing• Proficiency inTally (mandatory) – no other ERP systems required• Excellentnegotiation and vendor management skills• Understanding ofregulatory and safety requirements in handling chemicals•Strong communication and interpersonal skills
