Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Pipe Fabricator based in Chennai. The Pipe Fabricator will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing piping systems as per technical specifications and safety standards. Daily tasks include interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, cutting, welding, and shaping metal pipes, ensuring the accuracy of dimensions, performing quality checks, and collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently. Compliance with safety protocols and maintaining tools and equipment will also be part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in pipe fabrication, cutting, and welding
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans
  • Experience with measuring instruments and tools used in pipe fitting and fabricating
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and practices in industrial environments
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and ability to work as part of a team
  • Technical certifications, vocational training, or experience in pipe fabrication or a related field are highly desirable
  • Ability to work on-site in Chennai
