Sales Engineer

The ideal candidate will prospect and close sales leads to help generate revenue for the company. They will also be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating the sales strategy. They will have strong management and coaching skills to support the learning and development of the sales team.
Responsibilities
- Make concerted efforts to achieve budgeted equipment sales numbers on a monthly basis.
- Persuade customers on product benefits in terms of quality, pricing, and delivery timelines to convert inquiries into orders.
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions to ensure mutual satisfaction and alignment with business goals.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely proposal submissions and order fulfillment.
- Identify and pursue potential sales leads who will benefit from the company's products or services.
- Regularly meet with both existing and potential customers, including competitors' clients and financiers, to generate new business opportunities.
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships by understanding and interpreting customer requirements.
- Capture and document product performance reports and customer testimonials to build trust and credibility.
- Support the learning and development of the sales team
- Coordinate with sales representatives to generate and meet with prospective leads
- Track and report all sales activities
- Develop and execute sales strategy through market analysis
Qualifications
- Should be an Engineering graduate with minimum 5 years of experience in Valves or allied Industries
- Experience in technical sales, product application, customer interaction, and solution development in an engineering or industrial environment.
- Experience generate and maintaining relationships with sales leads
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
