What Success Looks Like In This Role
Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable automation frameworks for Salesforce applications using tools like Selenium, Provar, or equivalent.
  • Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and developers to understand Salesforce customization and integration requirements.
  • Define and implement best practices, coding standards, and guidelines for test automation in Salesforce projects.
  • Create, review, and execute automated regression and functional test suites for various Salesforce modules (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and custom applications).
  • Conduct API and integration testing for Salesforce using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
  • Participate in architectural and design discussions to ensure testability and maintainability of solutions.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior QA engineers in automation scripting, debugging, and test design.
  • Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.) and ensure continuous testing coverage.
  • Monitor Salesforce release updates and ensure compatibility of automated test scripts.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams for performance testing and system reliability validation.

You will be successful in this role if you have:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • 5–8 years of experience in test automation, with at least 3 years focused on Salesforce applications.
  • Proven expertise in Salesforce automation tools such as Selenium, Provar, TestNG, or equivalent.
  • In-depth understanding of Salesforce architecture, Lightning components, Apex, and APIs (REST/SOAP).
  • Experience in leading QA automation initiatives and managing automation frameworks in enterprise environments.
  • Strong skills in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to coordinate across distributed teams.
