Regional Manager - Sales
To deliver profitable and sustainable sales growth by adopting the strategy for the assigned region through collective efforts of the team and in line with the overall strategy and policies of Spirax Sarco India
Full P&L responsibilities for the region
• To grow sales with targeted profitability within assigned region/area
• To contribute building of the business strategy and lead the implementation of the strategy for the region
• To lead the team with excellence mindset and keeping safety as the top priority.
• Coach/mentor and develop the team in the sales process to achieve self generated sales.
• Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product knowledge sharing
• Ability to 'Negotiate and close' sales
• Managing after-sales support services
• Forecasting – Long Term (5 years plan), Annual, Monthly, Weekly
• To identify, plan and deliver business development initiatives
• Maintaining relationships and grow business with existing key customers.
• Develop new customers.
• To report on market and mega trends
• Management reporting as per company's requirements
• Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
Graduate level (Engineering degree/ Diploma in technical education)
• Knowledge of steam engineering experience would be added advantage
• Extensive customer facing experience and selling skills
• Good written & verbal communication skills
• Analytical & problem solving skills
• Manage & Lead a team Independently
• Ability to formulate and drive initiatives
• Experience in handling CRM & ERP systems
