Job description
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic person to and drive our Standby / Reserve Power Battery business across the Middle East, Africa, and other emerging international markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Market Development:
Develop and execute sales strategies for the Reserve Power battery segment (including Inverter, Solar, Telecom, UPS, Data Center, and Industrial Backup) in international markets.
Identify new business opportunities and lead market entry strategies for untapped geographies.
Revenue Growth & P&L Management:
Own and drive the annual sales targets, profitability, and market share goals for assigned regions.
Monitor key sales KPIs and market intelligence to ensure competitive positioning.
Channel & Partner Management:
Build and manage distributor/dealer networks, OEM relationships, and large institutional clients.
Evaluate and onboard new partners; ensure alignment with brand, pricing, and performance expectations.
Customer Engagement:
Maintain high-level relationships with Channel Partners, Distributors, key accounts, government bodies, and EPC players.
Provide technical and commercial support for major bids and contracts.
Team Leadership & Cross-functional Coordination:
Lead and mentor a team of managers; collaborate with product, supply chain, finance, and service teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Product and Market Intelligence:
Provide feedback to R&D/product teams on market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to influence product roadmaps.
Key Requirements:
- Strong understanding of the Middle East, Africa, and emerging market business dynamics.
- Proven leadership in driving international sales, managing multi-country distributor networks, and closing high-value deals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across international markets.
