Job description

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic person to and drive our Standby / Reserve Power Battery business across the Middle East, Africa, and other emerging international markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Market Development:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for the Reserve Power battery segment (including Inverter, Solar, Telecom, UPS, Data Center, and Industrial Backup) in international markets.

  • Identify new business opportunities and lead market entry strategies for untapped geographies.

  • Revenue Growth & P&L Management:

  • Own and drive the annual sales targets, profitability, and market share goals for assigned regions.

  • Monitor key sales KPIs and market intelligence to ensure competitive positioning.

  • Channel & Partner Management:

  • Build and manage distributor/dealer networks, OEM relationships, and large institutional clients.

  • Evaluate and onboard new partners; ensure alignment with brand, pricing, and performance expectations.

  • Customer Engagement:

  • Maintain high-level relationships with Channel Partners, Distributors, key accounts, government bodies, and EPC players.

  • Provide technical and commercial support for major bids and contracts.

  • Team Leadership & Cross-functional Coordination:

  • Lead and mentor a team of managers; collaborate with product, supply chain, finance, and service teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

  • Product and Market Intelligence:

  • Provide feedback to R&D/product teams on market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to influence product roadmaps.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of the Middle East, Africa, and emerging market business dynamics.
  • Proven leadership in driving international sales, managing multi-country distributor networks, and closing high-value deals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across international markets.
