Role Overview:

The Account Executive will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's financial records and ensuring accuracy in all accounting processes. This role involves handling daily accounting operations such as journal entries, reconciliations, tax filings, payroll, and financial reporting. The candidate will ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory regulations, and internal policies.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, hands-on experience with Tally/ERP software, and proficiency in MS Excel. Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to meet deadlines are key for success in this role. The Account Executive will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial data management and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all accounting transactions and ensure accuracy in financial records
  • Post journal entries and update financial statements regularly
  • Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Process and manage monthly payroll
  • Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B)
  • Handle TDS and TCS compliance
  • Prepare and review financial reports
  • Perform account and bank reconciliations
  • Reconcile vendor ledgers and accounts payable
  • Assist in tax return preparation and audit activities
  • Maintain and update accounting systems (ERP/Tally)
  • Support cross-functional teams with accurate financial data
  • Stay updated with changes in tax laws and compliance requirements
  • Perform other accounting duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. Com / M. Com / MBA in Accounting or Finance preferred)
  • Additional accounting certifications will be an added advantage

Required Skills:

Proven work experience as an Accountant or Account Executive

Sound knowledge of accounting principles and GAAP

Hands-on experience with Tally and ERP accounting software

Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)

Experience with general ledger functions and account reconciliations

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
