Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Office 365 Lead to oversee the administration, governance, and security of our Microsoft 365 environment. This role will lead tenant management, enforce compliance and identity controls, and drive the secure enablement of collaboration tools across the organization. Expertise in Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Dynamics, and Conditional Access is essential, along with strong operational leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary administrator for the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and related services
  • Lead identity and access management initiatives through Entra ID (Azure AD) including RBAC, MFA, and authentication policies
  • Design, implement, and maintain Conditional Access, security tags, and identity governance policies
  • Manage Microsoft Defender solutions: Defender for Office 365 and Defender for Identity
  • Oversee Intune MDM and MAM for device compliance, app protection, and endpoint configuration
  • Support and maintain Dynamics 365 user access, licensing, and integrations
  • Monitor and manage compliance, auditing, and data-loss-prevention policies across the tenant
  • Work closely with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to align cloud productivity and security strategies
  • Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and governance standards
  • Oversee incident response, service health monitoring, and RCA for Microsoft 365 issues
  • Manage licensing strategy, usage optimization, and subscription governance
  • Provide technical leadership to support teams and mentor junior administrators
  • Collaborate with Azure teams to support Azure Arc, hybrid identity, and workload integrations

Required Skills & Experience

  • Hands-on experience administering full Microsoft 365 suite in medium-to-large enterprise environments
  • Strong knowledge of Entra ID / Azure AD, MFA, SSO, identity lifecycle, and device trust policies
  • Deep expertise in Intune for endpoint security, Windows/Linux/Mobile provisioning, and compliance enforcement
  • Practical experience with Microsoft Defender (Office 365, Endpoint, Identity)
  • Understanding of Dynamics 365 admin and role-based security
  • Experience configuring Conditional Access and Zero Trust-aligned access policies
  • Familiarity with Azure Arc and hybrid connectivity management
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for identity, collaboration tools, and endpoint issues
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks and Microsoft Purview (preferred)

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
  • Microsoft Certified: Security Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
  • Intune / Endpoint Security Certifications (preferred)
