Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities

•    Ensure the development and management of detailed project plans and schedules.

•    Maintain control over the project's timeline, scope, and costs.

•    Ensure accurate budgeting, cost estimation, and forecasting to keep projects within the approved budget.

•    Monitor cost performance, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.

•    Identify and evaluate project risks and ensure timely mitigation measures are implemented.

•    Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders regarding project status, risks, and issues.

•    Deliver regular progress reports and management dashboards on the status of the project.

Roles & Responsibilities

Project Planning:
1.    Develop comprehensive project schedules, incorporating milestones, deliverables, and dependencies using project management tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
2.    Set clear goals and objectives for each project phase, ensuring resource availability and adherence to timelines.
Progress Monitoring and Reporting:
1.    Track project performance against established KPIs, schedules, and budgets.
2.    Prepare and present detailed project status reports, identifying key risks and recommending corrective actions.
Cost Control:
1.    Develop and maintain project budgets, ensuring all costs are accurately tracked.
2.    Analyze budget variances, identify cost drivers, and ensure corrective actions are implemented to control costs.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation:


•    Identify potential risks to project schedules, budgets, or quality.

•    Implement risk mitigation strategies and prepare contingency plans for unforeseen challenges.
Change Management:


•    Manage project changes and scope variations, ensuring timely updates to schedules, budgets, and resources.

•    Ensure effective communication of changes to all stakeholders.
Resource Allocation:


•    Optimize resource planning and allocation, ensuring the right resources are available at the right time.

•    Collaborate with other departments to manage workforce allocation, material procurement, and equipment usage.
Stakeholder Coordination:


•    Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure alignment on project objectives.

•    Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise between project stakeholders to maintain smooth project execution.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:


•    Monitor compliance with all quality control processes and standards to ensure the project meets all requirements.

•    Ensure that all deliverables are reviewed and signed off in accordance with the project's quality plan.
Documentation and Record Keeping:


•    Maintain all project documentation, including project plans, schedules, progress reports, and change orders.

•    Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping for audit and project evaluation purposes.
 

Qualifications


•    Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Project Management, or related field. 

•    Experience: 4–9 years of experience in project planning, control, and execution.
