The Accountant will be responsible for managing and maintaining all financial records, project accounts, and statutory compliance of the SID Group of Companies. The role involves handling end-to-end accounting functions, vendor billing, and ensuring accuracy and transparency in all accounting operations related to infrastructure and development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update daily books of accounts in Tally ERP and Farvision.
  • Record all financial transactions, including payments, receipts, purchases, and sales.
  • Prepare and verify vendor bills, work orders, and purchase orders for approval.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns as per compliance requirements.
  • Handle bank reconciliation, petty cash, and inter-company transaction entries.
  • Prepare project-wise cost and expense reports for management review.
  • Maintain proper documentation for all vouchers, invoices, and statutory records.
  • Coordinate with site engineers and other teams for bill verification and approvals.
  • Assist the Finance Controller during audits, financial analysis, and month-end closing.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance).
  • Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of experience in accounting, preferably in Construction or Real Estate companies.
  • Proficient in Tally ERP and MS Excel.
  • Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and Income Tax compliance.
  • Experience with Farvision software will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and project-based financial management.
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and reconciliation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet reporting deadlines.
