About the Role
We are looking for a Python Microservices Engineer who will design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices that form the backbone of our software architecture. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, efficient, and maintainable solutions that align with business needs and technical best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain new microservices in collaboration with global teams.
- Create comprehensive documentation for code and participate in peer reviews to ensure quality and knowledge sharing.
- Gather and incorporate user feedback to improve microservice performance and functionality.
- Manage and optimize APIs using Curl and Pythons requests library for seamless service communication.
- Work with product managers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to align on goals and deliverables.
- Contribute to architectural improvements and explore emerging technologies to enhance offerings.
You Might Be Our Ideal Match If You:
- Hold a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Have 6+ years of software development experience, with a strong focus on Python and microservices architecture.
- Are proficient in FastAPI, Bash, and YAML.
- Have hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Helm for deployment.
- Are skilled in CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Tekton.
- Have exposure to API management, HashiCorp Vault, MongoDB, Airflow, and Kibana.
- Communicate effectively and can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
