Scaling Microservices is a general selection track for teams focusing on back-end REST API microservices engineering in Go and Python. It covers all levels of seniority.

  • API design, documentation, and governance

Location: we have teams with open roles in every time zone.

Your day will involve:

  • Writing high-quality, well-designed software that works at scale
  • Designing APIs and software architecture for review
  • Writing tests that validate software behaviour
  • Building and maintaining reliable applications and services
  • Collaborating proactively with a globally distributed team
  • Displaying technical leadership internally and within external communities
  • Debugging issues and producing solutions
  • Contribute to technical documentation
  • Discussing and collaborating across teams
  • Working from home with global travel for company events

We look for individuals with an exceptional academic record, proficiency in Python and/or Go, a history of writing modern software, experience with relational and non-relational database systems, continuous integration and delivery experience, and professional written and spoken English.

Additional skills may include experience with container tech, understanding of build systems and toolchains, cross-compilation, hyperscale public clouds or private clouds, designing, building, and running distributed systems, performance engineering, and security experience.
