Skills & Background We Value

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi
  • Background in Psychology (preferred)
  • Passion for at least one of: Science, History, Geography (previous experience or study is preferred)
  • UPSC/MPSC preparation experience can be a plus
  • Artistic talents (painting, singing, poetry, music, speech & drama) are a huge bonus
  • Ability to research and design lessons on any topic sparked by children's curiosity
  • Interest or skills in art, music, dance, or design (at least one)
  • Awareness of alternative learning methods
  • Prior experience working with children (desirable)
  • Skills or interest in designing and creating learning materials

Most importantly: an awareness of children's needs and the ability to reflect and re-align oneself and the environment with the child's best interest in mind.

Your Responsibilities

  • Work with children aged 3–6 years, learning and implementing Montessori pedagogy at our learning centre
  • Run day-to-day operations of the classroom
  • Observe children daily and maintain detailed observation notes
  • Ensure upkeep of the learning space and materials, creating new learning aids when needed
  • Identify unmet learner needs and recommend/implement new initiatives
  • Offer environment tours to parents and visitors
