Job Title: Brand and Communications Advisor (Band 4)
Location: Bengaluru, India
Function: Business Communications / Employer Branding
Reports to: Head of Communications (IHDS)
Role Purpose
To define and execute the strategic communications and employer branding plan that positions CIHS as the employer of choice—internally and externally—in alignment with talent acquisition and retention priorities. The role requires a strategic thinker with a global mindset, strong networking capabilities, and a hands-on approach to execution.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Communications & Branding
- Develop and implement a compelling employer brand strategy tailored to the Bengaluru office and the Bengaluru market, aligned with the global IH Employer Value Proposition (EVP) framework and IHDS vision.
- Translate the Cigna Healthcare IHDS narrative into multi-channel campaigns (email, social media, IRIS, PR, events) that reflect the business strategy and culture.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with Talent Acquisition, HR, and business leaders to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with hiring and retention goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to amplify CIHS visibility.
Content Development & Activation
- Create high-impact communications materials including banners, social media assets, and role adverts using brand guidelines.
- Lead storytelling initiatives that showcase Bengaluru team-driven innovation, collaboration, and impact—especially through platforms like IRIS and LinkedIn.
PR & Positioning
- Support leadership communications for our Senior Leaders in Bengaluru, including open houses, senior leader calls, and strategic updates
- Identify public and media opportunities to elevate the visibility of Cigna Healthcare and position us as an employer of choice.
Measurement & Optimization
- Track campaign effectiveness and employee engagement metrics to continuously refine strategy.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve brand perception and talent attraction.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in strategic communications, employer branding, or marketing—preferably in a global or matrixed organization.
- Strong writing, storytelling, and visual communication skills.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
- Experience working across cultures and geographies.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving initiatives independently.
- Familiarity with internal platforms like IRIS and external channels like LinkedIn, Instagram, and PR.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field.
- Prior experience in healthcare, insurance, or professional services sectors.
- Exposure to EVP frameworks and talent branding strategies.
