The
Procurement Manager

will be responsible for leading and optimizing procurement strategies, managing supplier networks, and ensuring competitive sourcing of agricultural goods for international markets. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience from sourcing/export houses, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to manage cross-border procurement operations with precision and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers in agricultural and allied product sectors.
  • Build and maintain long-term vendor partnerships to ensure consistent supply, competitive pricing, and quality compliance.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and international buyer requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts, quotations, and pricing in line with
    Incoterms (EXW, FOB, CIF, etc.)

- Manage the complete procurement lifecycle, from requirement analysis to purchase order execution.
- Oversee sample management, quality testing, and packaging compliance for export shipments.
- Ensure adherence to global trade regulations, export-import documentation, and compliance standards.
- Monitor agricultural commodity pricing, market shifts, and industry trends for data-driven sourcing decisions.
- Provide insights to management on cost fluctuations, supplier performance, and procurement risks.
- Collaborate with Sales, Logistics, and QA teams for seamless execution of international buyer orders.
- Support internal stakeholders with procurement updates, supplier intelligence, and sourcing insights.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Agriculture, Business Administration, International Trade, or related field.
  • 5–7 years of proven experience in procurement/sourcing, preferably with agricultural goods, exports, or sourcing houses.
  • Strong understanding of Incoterms, export-import documentation, and international trade practices.
  • Demonstrated ability in supplier negotiations, vendor relationship management, and procurement cost optimization.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, procurement tools, and professional business communication.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
