Job Title: House Manager

Location: Olmo Capital Office, Field Visits to Khandala Bungalow

Job Purpose:

The House Manager is responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the household, ensuring maintenance, staff management, food and grocery management, security, and overall operations are well-coordinated.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Food & Grocery Management

  • Order groceries and household supplies.
  • Ensure timely delivery of fresh food and maintain inventory.[PK1]

2. Health & Medical Check-ups

  • Schedule regular health and medical check-ups for specifically for Geeta Maam and Gulu Sir.
  • Maintain records of all check-ups and follow-ups to ensure timely medical care.

3. House Maintenance & Repairs

  • Oversee regular maintenance of the house, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliances.
  • Coordinate repair work and renovations with contractors and service providers.
  • Ensure all household systems and equipment are functional and well-maintained.

4. Staff Supervision

  • Manage household staff including cleaners, cooks, gardeners, and drivers.
  • Schedule duties, monitor performance, and provide guidance.
  • Conduct regular appraisals and training for household staff.
  • Schedule regular leave allocation for all household staff.

5. Budgeting & Expenses

  • Maintain records of household expenses.
  • Approve and manage payments for groceries, maintenance, staff salaries, and services.

  • Household Operations & Safety

  • Ensure cleanliness, organization, and security of the house.

  • Implement safety protocols for the family and staff.

  • Driver Management

  • Schedule regular leave allocation.

  • Oversee vehicle maintenance and servicing.
  • Maintain records of driver performance, licenses, and compliance.

8. Security & Surveillance

  • Monitor and manage CCTV systems (e.g., Flat – Tanhee Heights / Khandala property).
  • Ensure proper functioning of all security equipment and address any issues promptly.

  • Event & Schedule Management

  • Plan and oversee household events or gatherings.

  • Manage family calendars and appointments as required.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Budget management and record-keeping skills.
  • Problem-solving skills for household maintenance and operations.
  • Discretion and confidentiality.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Prior experience as a House Manager or in a similar household management role.
  • Knowledge of household operations, staff management, and maintenance procedures.
  • Basic understanding of safety, security, and driver management.
