Qualification:
Degree in Fashion Technology (NIFT or equivalent preferred)

Role Overview

The Manager – Merchandiser will be responsible for leading the product category strategy, overseeing the end-to-end product lifecycle, and ensuring category performance in alignment with consumer demands and market trends. This role demands strong technical knowledge of textiles and embroidery, vendor management, analytical acumen, and cross-functional collaboration with design, sourcing, production, marketing, and retail teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute
    category/product strategy
    aligned with company objectives.
  • Manage the
    end-to-end product development lifecycle
    from concept to market launch.
  • Conduct
    trend forecasting, competitor benchmarking, and consumer insights
    analysis.
  • Collaborate with
    design, sourcing, production, marketing, and retail teams
    for cohesive execution.
  • Ensure
    timely delivery of collections
    while maintaining quality and cost competitiveness.
  • Monitor
    sales performance and inventory
    to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships for effective sourcing and product development.
  • Present
    category performance reports
    and recommendations to senior management.
