XML Conversion Executive

We are (Software Development Company - IT) seeking a skilled, Good attitude and experienced XML Conversion Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for XML Conversion Executive to manage XML data conversion, validation, and quality assurance tasks.

Designation: XML Conversion Executive

Qualification: Any UG / PG / Dip. / Engineering Graduates

Gender: Male / Female candidates

Experience: 0 to 5 Years. Freshers can also apply.

Job Location: Coimbatore, Tiruppur

Job Type: Full Time | Day Shift | Permanent Job

Working Time: 9:00am to 6:00pm

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled XML Conversion Executive to manage XML data conversion, validation, and quality assurance tasks. The ideal candidate will work with structured content, ensure schema compliance, and support data workflows with high accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform XML conversions from various source formats (PDF, Word, Excel, HTML, etc.)
  • Validate XML files and ensure they comply with DTD/XSD/Schema standards
  • Work with structured data formats such as JATS, FM-JATS, SCJATS, NLM, TEI, or custom DTDs
  • Fix tagging errors and perform structural and logical validation
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency in XML output
  • Use validation tools such as Oxygen XML, XMetal, Notepad++, or related editors
  • Maintain and update internal data workflow and process documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data structuring methods
  • Meet daily production targets while maintaining quality parameters

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of XML, DTD, XSD, Schema validation
  • Experience in XML conversion or structured content publishing
  • Familiar with editorial standards like JATS, NLM XML, STM, or e-Publishing workflows
  • Proficiency in XML editors
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality consciousness
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Any degree (IT, Computer Science, Science, or related fields preferred)
  • 1–3 years of experience in XML conversion, e-publishing, or data structuring
  • Freshers with strong XML knowledge are also welcome to apply
