We are (Software Development Company - IT) seeking a skilled, Good attitude and experienced Adpf Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for APDF Developer with strong knowledge in PDF automation, XML workflows, scripting, and publishing production tools, developing, customizing, and maintaining APDF workflows for high-volume publishing, XML conversion, and automated PDF generation.

Working Time: 9:00am to 6:00pm

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced APDF Developer with strong knowledge in PDF automation, XML workflows, scripting, and publishing production tools. The candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining APDF workflows for high-volume publishing, XML conversion, and automated PDF generation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, customize, and maintain APDF workflows for automated PDF generation.
  • Work with XML, XSLT, XSL-FO, CSS, and publishing frameworks to produce high-quality PDFs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve formatting issues, layout errors, and automation failures.
  • Integrate APDF processes with editorial, XML, and production systems.
  • Optimize scripts and workflows for speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with XML, DTD/Schema, and Typesetting teams.
  • Validate and ensure compliance with client-specific PDF and XML standards.
  • Work with tools like Antenna House, PrinceXML, FrameMaker, InDesign, or any internal PDF engines.
  • Maintain version control and documentation for all APDF modules.

Skills Required

  • Strong knowledge in APDF development, PDF automation, and publishing tools.
  • Expertise in XML, XSLT, XPath, XSL-FO, and stylesheet creation.
  • Understanding of DTD/Schema and structured content workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with Antenna House / Prince XML / XPP / FOP or similar engines.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, Bash – added advantage).
  • Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines.
