Job Summary

The Junior Architecture Document Controller will support the project team in managing construction drawings and technical documents. The role involves coordinating with architects, consultants, and site engineers to ensure the correct and latest drawings are shared with the site team in a timely manner. This is an entry-level role designed for freshers who want to build a career in construction project coordination and document management.

Key ResponsibilitiesDrawing & Document Support

  • Receive drawings and documents from architects, consultants, and internal teams.
  • Maintain basic drawing and document registers in Excel or document management systems.
  • Ensure proper filing of drawings by discipline (Architectural, Structural, MEP).
  • Help in maintaining revision history and marking superseded drawings.
  • Ensure the key stakeholders have the latest version of the documents at all the times.

Coordination & Communication

  • Assist in sharing approved drawings with site engineers and supervisors.
  • Coordinate with architects and consultants for revised drawings when instructed by seniors.
  • Track pending drawings and follow up for updates under guidance.
  • Record site queries and forward them to the appropriate consultant or architect.

Site & Office Support

  • Ensure site teams are using the latest issued drawings.
  • Help retrieve drawings and documents quickly when requested by the project team.
  • Support senior team members during audits or document reviews.

Compliance & Organization

  • Follow company document control procedures and naming conventions.
  • Maintain soft copies and hard copies of drawings in an organized manner.
  • Assist in preparing simple reports on drawing status and pending items.

Skills & Competencies

  • Basic understanding of construction drawings and terminology.
  • Good organizational and filing skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic coordination and follow-up skills.
  • Willingness to learn and take guidance from senior team members.
  • Comfortable using MS Excel, MS Word, and email.
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD drawings is an advantage (not mandatory).

Qualification & Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture / Construction Management (preferred).
  • Freshers or candidates with 0–2 years of experience can apply.
  • Prior internship or site exposure is an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹12, ₹20,000.00 per month
