Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Special Educator located in Bengaluru. The Special Educator will work with children and middle school students with disabilities to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). The day-to-day tasks include conducting assessments, providing personalized instruction, and communicating with parents and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for each student. The Special Educator will also be responsible for creating and maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Special Education and working with children with disabilities
  • Teaching experience, particularly at the middle school level
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and assessment techniques
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications in Special Education are a plus
