Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Generation: Identify and target potential customers through cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry events. Present home automation solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Customer Consultation: Conduct site visits or virtual consultations to assess customer requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain deep knowledge of the company's products, services, and industry trends to effectively communicate benefits to customers.
  • Sales Process Management: Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, lead qualification, product demonstration, proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by providing exceptional customer service and after-sales support.
  • Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with competitors, market conditions, and technological advancements in the home automation sector to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress. Provide regular sales reports to the Sales Manager.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the technology or home automation industry.
  • Strong understanding of home automation technologies (e.g., smart lighting, security systems, HVAC control, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technology in simple terms.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and target-focused with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • A valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer locations, as required.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, with a focus on technology or home automation (preferred).
