Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a talented and experienced Industrial Automation lead Engineer . The Engineer will be responsible for development and commissioning of automation solutions. Day-to-day tasks include development, testing and validation, technical documentation, site commissioning, technical support and mentoring of junior team members. The role requires working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirement:

  • Educational Qualification: B. Tech in electrical, electronics, instrumentation and mechatronics engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 Years of hands-on experience in executing automation projects
  • Strong expertise in IEC programming languages(LD, structured text, FBD) and versatile in developing applications using various automation frameworks (Siemens, Schneider Electric, AB, ABB, Phoenix Contact, Aveva, etc)
  • Proficient in industrial communication protocols including Modbus RTU/TCP, Ethernet IP, Profinet, OPC, CAN etc.
  • Thorough understanding and experience with control system architecture, P&ID diagrams, FDS, control drawings, single-line diagrams, and panel drawings.
  • Experience in testing procedures, FAT/SAT, and commissioning of automation projects
  • Prepared project documents such as IO list, test reports, manuals and other technical documents.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites for project execution and commissioning.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex automation systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and commissioning of automation projects.
  • Prepare, review and maintain technical documents for the project such as test reports, manuals etc.
  • Conduct testing and validation of automation systems.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time.
  • Provide sales team and clients with pre-sales, execution and after-sales technical support.
  • Training and support junior engineers to ensure adherence to project execution, quality standards and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with safety practices and quality management requirements
  • Travel to project sites for project survey and execution
