Job Summary

As a Closing Specialist within the Mortgage Operations Team, you ensure all closing activities are executed accurately and efficiently. You collaborate with internal and external partners to facilitate timely and compliant mortgage transactions. Your attention to detail and regulatory knowledge drive successful client outcomes

Job Responsibilities

  • Source applicable fees from title companies and vendors for timely client disclosure.
  • Prepare closing documents in accordance with state, regulatory, and internal guidelines.
  • Review and confirm all credit and non-credit conditions are satisfied.
  • Collaborate directly with Mortgage Solutions, vendors, and partners to close transactions.
  • Gain comprehensive understanding of the origination cycle and mortgage documentation.
  • Display excellence in client service throughout the closing process.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in reviewing loan details and documentation for compliance.
  • Resolve complex issues by identifying innovative solutions and communicating findings.
  • Complete accurate disbursement of funds for each transaction.
  • Adhere strictly to J.P. Morgan fair lending practices.
  • Achieve and exceed productivity, quality, and turnaround time goals.
