About the Role

Dropty is India only smart baggage solution and we are building a premium home baggage check-in and post flight baggage delivery service. We're looking for a Tech Lead who can own the full technology stack— backend, mobile apps, dashboards, cloud, and security—and guide a growing engineering team as we scale across India and Globe.

What You'll Do


• Design and build Dropty's technical architecture (backend, mobile, admin dashboards, real-time tracking).


• Lead backend development using + NestJS.


• Work closely with iOS/Android/React Native teams on app structure, API design, mapping, camera flows, and offline handling.


• Oversee cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and deployments.


• Integrate airline systems (PNR, bag tags, check-in APIs).


• Set coding standards, security protocols, and ensure aviation-grade reliability.


• Lead and mentor backend, mobile, frontend, QA, and DevOps teams.


• Collaborate with founders and product on the roadmap and execution.

What You Should Bring


• 6–8 years of experience building scalable systems.


• Strong hands-on skills with , TypeScript, NestJS, PostgreSQL, Redis.


• Experience with microservices, APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure.


• Good understanding of mobile app architecture (Swift/Kotlin/React Native).


• Exposure to real-time tracking, maps, or logistics systems is a plus.


• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and ownership mindset.
