About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic AP Physics Instructor to join our online teaching team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in physics, a passion for helping students excel, and familiarity with College Board's AP Physics curriculum (AP Physics 1, AP Physics 2, and/or AP Physics C).

This is a fully remote position with flexible scheduling, ideal for educators, tutors, graduate students, or professionals looking to share their expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach AP Physics content in live online sessions or 1:1 tutoring formats.
  • Prepare students for AP exams by covering core concepts, problem-solving strategies, and exam-style practice.
  • Create engaging, clear, and student-centered instructional materials as needed.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain strong communication with students and support staff.
  • Use digital tools (Zoom, Google Classroom, LMS platforms, etc.) to deliver instruction effectively.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Physics, Engineering, or a related STEM field (Master's preferred).
  • Prior experience teaching or tutoring AP Physics (AP Physics 1, 2, or C).
  • Strong grasp of calculus-based and/or algebra-based physics concepts.
  • Excellent communication and online teaching skills.
  • Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with College Board AP curriculum and exam preparation.
  • Teaching certification or relevant academic/industry experience.
  • Familiarity with online education platforms.
