Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate AP Physics Tutor to join our online teaching team. The ideal candidate will have deep subject knowledge, strong communication skills, and a commitment to helping students master AP Physics concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective 1:1 online sessions for AP Physics 1, AP Physics 2, and/or AP Physics C.
  • Tailor instruction to each student's learning style, pace, and academic needs.
  • Provide clear explanations of challenging concepts such as mechanics, electricity & magnetism, and waves.
  • Prepare students for AP exams through practice problems, test-taking strategies, and concept reinforcement.
  • Track student progress and share regular feedback with parents/students.
  • Use digital tools such as whiteboards, screen sharing, and simulations to enhance understanding.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics or a related field.
  • Prior experience teaching or tutoring AP Physics (online experience preferred).
  • Strong grasp of College Board AP Physics curriculum and exam structure.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Availability during U.S. evening hours or weekends.
  • Stable internet connection and access to a computer with webcam/microphone.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified teacher or experience teaching U.S. based students
  • Familiarity with online platforms like Zoom, Google Meet, or other LMS tools.
  • Passion for teaching and helping students succeed.
