Audit Executive

We are looking for an (on-site) Bank Audit Executive / Senior Audit Associate to join our team in Mysore. The candidate should have a solid understanding of banking regulations, financial controls, and RBI guidelines, and must be capable of handling branch audits independently.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Audit Execution

  • Review KYC/AML compliance and internal controls.
  • Execute Revenue Audits, focusing on income leakage detection.
  • Carry out Stock Audits and Book Debt verification.
  • Conduct Concurrent Audits as per RBI guidelines.
  • Perform Statutory Branch Audits covering advances, deposits, NPA classification, provisioning, etc.

2. Loans & Advances Verification

  • Scrutiny of loan documents, sanction terms, and DP calculations.
  • Review collateral security, valuation reports, ROC charge, and insurance compliance.
  • Identify stressed assets, SMA/NPA accounts, and provisioning requirements.

3. Reporting

  • Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and actionable recommendations.
  • Monitor closure of previous audit observations.
  • Present audit outcomes to branch management and senior partners.

4. Coordination & Documentation

  • Liaise with branch officials and credit teams.
  • Maintain working papers, checklists, and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure timely submission of all audit deliverables.

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of banking operations and RBI norms.
  • Experience with CBS systems (Finacle / Flexcube / BaNCS, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical ability, DP calculation, and NPA classification knowledge.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and audit tools.

Soft Skills:

  • Good communication and report-writing skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.

Qualifications:

  • B.Com / M.Com / CA-Inter / Semi-qualified CA preferred.
  • Minimum 4–5 years of dedicated experience in bank audits.
