Position: Financial Reporting Analyst

Location: Mysore, Karnataka, India

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven financial data analyst to support our finance and reporting functions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with financial reporting under Ind AS, exposure to US accounting practices, and a background in statutory audits at a CA firm. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with Ind AS and internal reporting requirements.
  • Execute financial reporting tasks including variance analysis, reconciliations, trend analysis, and preparation of management reports.
  • Support statutory audit processes and ensure timely and accurate delivery of audit schedules and documentation.
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders to gather financial data, validate information, and ensure data accuracy.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining accounting controls, processes, and documentation.
  • Contribute to ad hoc financial analysis, dashboards, and data-driven insights to support decision-making.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Master's in Finance / CA (Semi Qualified).
  • Working-level understanding of Ind AS with experience preparing financial statements.
  • Past experience with US accounting (US GAAP) is preferred.
  • CA firm experience, with exposure to statutory audits, is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel; exposure to data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL, or Python) is a plus.
  • Excellent command of English, including strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within teams.
