Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver Financial Statement packages for a designated real estate portfolio, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Verify the accuracy of information before submission.
  • Conduct Balance Sheet reconciliations and analyze accounts for accuracy.
  • Post journal entries to the General Ledger and review periodic reports for errors.
  • Review and analyze transactions from Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable, resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Research, analyze, and explain variances in the Income Statement and changes in the Balance Sheet.
  • Assist in preparing additional financial reports as requested by clients.
  • Collaborate with independent CPA firms during audits and reviews.
  • Analyze and post end-of-year audit adjusting entries.
  • Provide assistance and guidance to Property Management regarding monthly Financial Statements.
  • Prepare various reports as requested.
  • Assist in accounting or operations projects as required.
  • Manage daily and monthly bank reconciliations for the assigned multifamily property portfolio.
