Data Analyst – Mid Level

Location: Pune -Head Office

Experience: 2–5 years

KRA Jewellers (88+ years legacy, 12 showrooms across Maharashtra) is seeking a Data Analyst to transform raw data into actionable insights that directly influence inventory planning, showroom growth, vendor performance, and customer-driven marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Stock Analysis
  • Study showroom-wise sales vs. stock data across 12 branches.
  • Identify fast-moving and slow-moving items, and recommend what to buy and what not to buy.
  • Track inventory turnover and shelf life across categories (gold, diamond, silver).
  • Showroom & Vendor Performance
  • Compare showroom performance and identify drivers/gaps.
  • Analyze vendor performance in terms of supply timelines, product quality, and contribution to sales.
  • Recommend vendor optimization strategies.
  • Customer & Marketing Insights
  • Study CRM & purchase history to build customer profiles and support targeted marketing.
  • Analyze buying patterns to segment customers (bridal, festive, repeat buyers, high-value customers).
  • Provide marketing insights on what products to promote, which showrooms need campaigns, and how to improve walk-in to conversion ratio.
  • Decision Support & Reporting
  • Develop and maintain dashboards/reports using Excel, Power BI, SQL.
  • Present clear, business-friendly recommendations to management.
  • Support purchase and marketing decisions by aligning data insights with showroom and customer needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or Commerce.
  • 2–5 years' experience in retail/business analytics (FMCG, lifestyle, jewellery preferred).
  • Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, Power BI/Tableau.
  • Ability to interpret ERP/CRM data and turn it into actionable business decisions.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting insights to senior management.
