Role Overview

We are looking for a highly creative and strategic Senior Graphic Designer with a passion for building brands and a strong understanding of visual communication. This individual will be instrumental in shaping Rentomojo's visual identity across all platforms, from digital campaigns to retail experiences. Beyond excellent design skills, we seek a leader who can mentor junior designers, contribute to brand strategy, and bring an artistic vision to our diverse projects.

Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize, design, and execute high-quality visual assets for various marketing channels, including social media, website, email campaigns, and print media.

  • Develop compelling visual narratives that align with Rentomojo's brand guidelines and marketing objectives.

  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and content teams to deliver impactful design solutions.

  • Ensure brand consistency and elevate the overall aesthetic across all touchpoints.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in graphic design and visual communication.

Strategic & Mentorship Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the strategic development of Rentomojo's brand visual language and guidelines.

  • Mentor and guide junior graphic designers, providing constructive feedback and fostering their growth.

  • Collaborate with the category team to apply design thinking principles to furniture procurement and cataloging, enhancing the visual appeal and user experience.

  • Provide art direction on various projects, ensuring a cohesive and elevated creative output.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of projects.

  • Proven experience in a senior design role or similar, with demonstrated leadership potential.

  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software (Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma etc.).

  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.

  • Experience in art direction, with a keen eye for aesthetics and visual storytelling.

  • Ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into creative design solutions.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Graduated from NID, IIAD, SID, MITID or any other tier 1 design colleges

  • Experience in mentoring junior designers is a plus.

  • Prior experience in e-commerce, retail, or a similar fast-paced environment is desirable.

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating creative problem-solving and an ability to work across various mediums.
