We are seeking a highly skilled Seed Production Manager to lead and oversee all phases of seed productionfrom strategic planning to harvest and quality assurance. This role requires hands-on leadership in managing staff, negotiating grower and processor contracts, and ensuring production goals are achieved within budget and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute seed production plans, allocating resources efficiently and ensuring quality standards.
* Recruit, train, and supervise production staff, fostering high performance.
* Negotiate and manage grower and processor contracts.
* Oversee field operations including planting, cultivation, harvesting, and processing.
* Ensure strict quality control, including germination and purity standards.
* Manage budgets, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
* Provide timely reports and maintain strong communication with stakeholders.
Qualifications:
* Degree in Agriculture, Seed Technology, or related field.
