Job Description: Data/Business Analyst

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical

Business Consultant

to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in

data analysis , coupled with a

strategic business acumen . This role will be responsible for leading end-to-end data-driven projects, transforming raw data into actionable insights, and developing impactful dashboards and advanced analyses. You will work with diverse data sources, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide strategic recommendations to drive business growth and efficiency. The ideal candidate will excel in creating technical documentation, performing data analysis using SQL and DBT, and conducting root cause analyses to support engineering teams. This role is critical to bridging the gap between business needs and technical execution, ensuring smooth and efficient processes. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end data analysis projects, from defining project scope and objectives to delivering final reports and presentations. Thrive in environments with incomplete or ambiguous data, and proactively seek solutions. Quickly adapt to changing priorities and unexpected challenges. Demonstrate resourcefulness and creativity in overcoming obstacles. Be able to make decisions with limited information. Coordinate with product managers, data engineers and business leaders to understand data needs and deliver on those needs and setting expectations with Product Managers (Data product owners). Document and capture the use cases, business logics/rules for the assigned data domains (fan, marketing, etc) and also working with Data Analyst and Data Product Owners across domains to ensure alignment across the entire data platform. Gather and capture the technical specifications for the incorporation of a variety of data sources into the model and working with internal and external partners and vendor to understand and capture the integration method and pattern. Ensure Specifications covers various aspect of how to integration the data including any transformations/logics required for data validation, standardizations, curations and reporting to fulfil the relevant use cases Work with the client's internal stakeholders to define and capture any fulfilment requirements such as outbound data deliveries, reporting and metrics. Prioritize to manage ad-hoc requests in parallel with ongoing sprints Participate with the team to execute sound solutions and approaches to meet business expectations in an efficient manner; Work with Data Engineers, Data Architects, Data Governance and QA to create and review the pipelines, data ingestion, storage, wrangling, cataloguing, quality, curation of various data sources. Work with the Data Product Owners to help manage and deliver on the product technical roadmap for the data platform Experienced with Scrum and Agile Methodologies to coordinate global delivery teams, run scrum ceremonies, manage backlog items, and handle escalations

Required Skill Sets: Prior exposure to Data Ingestion and Curation work (such as working with Data Lakehouse) Experience in

SQL

for purpose of data analysis/investigation and

Advanced Excel Well versed with Stakeholder management Work with the Data Product Owners to help manage and deliver on the product technical roadmap for the data platform Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Strong project management and organizational skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications: MBA / Bachelor's degree from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 business school, OR Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a data analysis project lead Master's degree in computer science, statistics, or related discipline Comfortable making decisions and leading Familiar with version control and relational databases
