Are you a finance expert with a passion for driving business success? Join our team at Ascendion as a Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist and play a key role in optimizing margins, analyzing financial metrics, and shaping strategic decisions.

Position: Lead FP&A

Location: Bangalore  (Hybrid/on site)

Shift: EST shift

Financial Planning & Analysis

· Partner with Practice & Delivery leadership in driving margin optimization initiatives, benchmarking and tracking operational and financial metrics

· Review project level bid vs did performance with Delivery leaders and advise them on levers available for margin improvement and course correction to achieve desired target margin.

· Build financial model, and evaluate pricing proposals to ensure they meet profitability targets

· Review contracts, commercial terms and ensure proposed terms are complaint within the guidance from CFO office

· Build and maintain database on financial and operational performance of industry peers

· Track inflation index movement and aid commercial team with insights for rate negotiations with client

· Manage pricing programs for benchmarking rates, rate revision, discount reduction and improve offshoring and 9-hour model in offshore

· Budgeting, Forecasting and variance analysis

· Perform financial reporting and support monthly P&L analysis and financial forecasts

· Perform ad-hoc business analyses and financial modeling. Present recommendations to senior management on strategic decisions, and planned future initiatives

Qualifications And Experience

· Full-time MBA Finance or a qualified CA / CWA / CFA

· years of experience in a Tier I IT services provider handling pricing / contract review

· Strong ability to influence and drive outcomes

· Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

· Project management skills and ability to work to tight deadlines

· Work as an individual contributor

Must have skillset : Financial modeling, deal pricing, Forecasting, Budgeting, Variance analysis, cost benchmarking, Pricing template, Rate card, Revenue recognition
