Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Program Management: Lead and manage multiple technical programs from concept through commercialization, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Systems Integration: Oversee the integration of electronics hardware, software, and firmware components to ensure seamless functionality and performance of analytical instruments or medical products.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with engineering, product management, quality assurance, regulatory, and manufacturing teams to align project goals and deliverables.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, leveraging expertise in electronics and computer science engineering.
  • Team Management: Oversee virtual and onsite cross-functional program core teams by maintaining rails and tracking/reporting deliverables and milestones.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders, including regular updates on project status, milestones, and challenges. Stakeholders across multiple geographies, acting as a liaison to senior management.
  • Documentation: Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements and best practices in program management and systems integration.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 15+ years of experience in complex product development with at least 5 years in program management topics, with a focus on analytical instruments or medical products development.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of electronics hardware, software, and
  • firmware integration.
  • Project Management: Proven track record of managing complex technical projects and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards in the medical device or analytical instruments industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications: PMP, Six Sigma, or other relevant certifications.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the electronics, medical device, or consumer electronics sectors.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft office tools.
