Job Title: Senior Manager – Hospital Operations Experience Required: 8–12 Years in Hospital Operations / Healthcare ManagementQualification: Graduate with MBA (Hospital Management) / MHA / MPH / PGDHMDr. P.K. Saha Hospital is 183 bedded multispecialty Hospital in heart of the city of Cooch Behar. It is the largest private hospital in neighbouring few districts in West Bengal with all major departments and is an extremely busy hospital with state-of-the-art emergency care, Cathlab, Neurosurgical facilities, high-end diagnostic and laboratory services and excellent round-the-clock bed occupancy.

Key Responsibilities:-Operational Management

• Oversee day-to-day operations of OPD, IPD, Emergency, Diagnostic, and Support Service departments.
• Ensure seamless patient flow, optimal resource allocation, and timely service delivery.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance across the facility.

Strategic Planning and Execution

• Assist hospital leadership in long-term planning, budgeting, and business development.
• Drive operational goals and monitor performance indicators (KPIs, TATs, bed occupancy, etc.).
• Identify areas for operational improvement and execute initiatives to increase efficiency and profitability.

Process & Quality Improvement

• Implement SOPs across departments in line with NABH standards.
• Work with quality teams to ensure accreditation compliance and patient safety protocols.
• Conduct periodic process audits, performance reviews, and service quality checks.

Patient Experience Management

• Monitor patient feedback mechanisms, address grievances, and enhance service delivery.
• Lead initiatives to improve patient satisfaction, reduce wait times, and increase transparency.
• Develop patient-centric policies in coordination with clinical and non-clinical teams.

Team Leadership and People Management

• Lead and mentor department managers, floor coordinators, and support staff.
• Manage rosters, training schedules, and performance improvement plans.

Vendor and Facility Management

• Oversee outsourced services (housekeeping, security, etc.) for quality and contract compliance.
• Coordinate with engineering and biomedical teams for infrastructure and equipment upkeep.

MIS and Reporting

• Generate and present daily, weekly, and monthly reports on operational metrics.
• Track and analyse service-level performance and make data-driven recommendations.Regulatory & Legal Compliance
• Ensure hospital operations align with legal and statutory regulations, including Fire NOC, Pollution Board, AERB, and local health authorities.
• Support audits, inspections, and documentation required for compliance purposes.

Purchase Coordination (Operations Department Only)

• Collect quotations for operational department requirements (e.g., housekeeping, maintenance, support services, etc.).
• Ensure all quotations are complete and validated by the respective operational teams.
• Forward the collected quotations to the central Purchase Department for processing and approval.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure clarity on specifications and timelines.
• Maintain records of quotations submitted and follow up on procurement status with the purchase team.________________________________________Required Skills and Qualifications
• Graduate in any discipline with post-graduate qualification in Hospital Administration / Healthcare Management (MBA, MHA, MPH, PGDHM).
• 8–12 years of progressive experience in healthcare operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial/supervisory role.
