Key Responsibilities

  • Project Execution:

  • Oversee mechanical construction activities including piping, equipment erection, HVAC, Water supply, Drainage, Firefighting & engineering services like Airconditioning & Ventilation and utility systems.

  • Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols.

  • Coordinate with civil, electrical, and instrumentation teams for seamless integration.

  • Site Supervision:

  • Manage contractors and subcontractors on-site.

  • Conduct daily site inspections and resolve technical issues.

  • Monitor progress and prepare daily/weekly reports.

  • Technical Expertise:

  • Interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and isometric diagrams.

  • Ensure compliance with ASME, IS, and other relevant codes and standards.

  • Review and approve method statements and work procedures.

  • Quality & Safety:

  • Implement QA/QC procedures and conduct inspections.

  • Enforce HSE policies and conduct toolbox talks.

  • Participate in audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

  • Documentation & Coordination:

  • Maintain construction records, material reconciliation, and progress documentation.

  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and vendors for approvals and clarifications.
  • Support commissioning and handover activities.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of industrial mechanical systems and construction practices.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and construction management tools.
  • Familiarity with fabrication, welding, and erection techniques.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple contractors and ensure timely delivery.
