MANDATORY SKILLS

Proven work experience with Embeded C, C++, and Python. Experience in Protocols like I2C, UART, SPI.

Technical Skills

Practical experience in device driver development and debugging.

Proficiency with Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code. Experience with IDEs such as MCUXpresso, MPLAB X IDE, Code Composer Studio, Keil MDK, SEGGER Embedded Studio.

Basic understanding of BIOS/UEFI and system initialization.

Experience with firmware version control (Git/SVN).

Exposure to RTOS environments like Zephyr or FreeRTOS.

Understanding of embedded hardware, schematics, and microcontroller architectures.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and test firmware and BIOS modules for embedded and x86-based platforms.

  • Support device driver development for hardware interfaces suchas I2C, SPI, UART, and GPIO.

  • Assist in board bring-up and initial hardware testing with firmware integration.

  • Develop and debug code using C, C++, and Python in embeddedenvironments.

  • Work with Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code for firmware anddriver development.

  • Use debugging tools (JTAG, SWD, serial console) for code validation and issue analysis.

  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and version control using Git/SVN.

  • Collaborate with hardware design, BIOS, and validation teams toidentify and fix firmware-related issues.

Additional skills:

  • Experience in device driver development and debugging.

  • Experience with firmware testing and validation processes.


•Familiarity with debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, or serial monitors.
