Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Manager, located in Noida. The Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new sales opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with schools, and closing deals. The role includes creating sales strategies, conducting market research, presenting Skodefy's solutions to potential schools, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Sales Manager will also be responsible for meeting sales targets, preparing sales reports, and collaborating with the marketing and product teams to optimize sales processes.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

  • Develop a comprehensive sales plan for K-12 educational institutes (solo and chains), prioritising metro hubs and key education corridors.
  • Generate pipeline through school visits, referrals, associations/events, inbound MQLs, and partner consultants.
  • Run full-cycle sales: discovery → ROI narrative → tailored demo → pilot/POC → commercial proposal → negotiation → closure.
  • Orchestrate high-impact demos with pre-sales; define pilot success criteria and exit-to-contract plan.
  • Prepare proposals, pricing, and terms; manage basic tender/RFP steps where applicable.
  • Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene by updating stages, notes, and next steps, and forecast weekly with clear probabilities.
  • Use reference selling (case studies, customer connects, site visits) to de-risk decisions.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns/webinars; provide competitive intel from the field.
  • Ensure a clean handoff to Onboarding/Customer Success, including scope, timelines, and the go-live plan.
  • Travel across the region for stakeholder meetings, demos, and events.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Sales, Business Development, and Client Relationship Management
  • Strong skills in Market Research, Sales Strategy Development, and Customer Service
  • Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools
  • Ability to meet targets and work under pressure
  • Experience in the education technology sector is a must
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
