Role: Resource Manager
Position: Fulltime
Responsibilities:
- Lead resource planning in Digital across different practices, balancing project demands, team member availability, and skillsets, while collaborating with other resource managers across other service lines to identify the best-fit resource options.
- Use the CRM system to track pipeline opportunities and upcoming resourcing needs proactively.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders and leaders to define resourcing requirements based on project scope, role levels, required skills, certifications, and availability.
- Present resource options to project leads and finalize allocation decisions efficiently.
- Ensure that accurate and up-to-date skills matrices and standardized team member profiles are maintained
- Build relationships with the team members they support, understand individual team member aspirations and align them with growth-focused opportunities.
- Ensure team members are assigned to projects that support their development and career path.
- Incorporate defined leverage models into resourcing recommendations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Project Managers, Partners, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and team members.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve resource-related conflicts, negotiate resource sharing, and balance competing project priorities.
- Participate in regular resourcing check-ins, pipeline reviews, and other leadership meetings.
- Advise leadership on hiring, training, and development needs based on resourcing trends.
- Enforce adherence to resource management standards, including timely forecasts and skills profiles updates.
- Track key metrics such as utilization, forecast accuracy, and time entry compliance.
- Understand post-project performance feedback and coordinate with performance coaches on staffing implications.
- Continuously evaluate and refine resourcing processes, tools, and frameworks.
- Stay informed of industry trends, innovations, and best practices in resource planning and professional services operations.
- Proactively apply new insights to improve resource utilization, scalability, and workforce agility.
Qualification
Essential Skills
- 5+ years in resource management within a consulting or professional services firm, preferably in a GCC or global operating model.
- Experience in project operations or PMO functions will be a plus.
- Proficiency with enabling tools like CRM, Microsoft Project Operations, or equivalent systems.
- Excellent relationship builder.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of resource planning, allocation, and optimization methodologies.
- Familiarity with project management frameworks including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
- Solid financial acumen; ability to analyze resource-related costs and budgeting impacts.
- Experience working with geographically dispersed teams.
- Proficiency in workforce planning and capacity modeling to support proactive resource decisions.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor/Master's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
